John Thomas' Thirty-first Week

<< Last week's page Next week's page >>

As John Thomas tries more and more foods, we are finding that he already has preferences. Last week we found out he prefers fruit cold. This week we found out he has a preferred brand of cereal! He had first tried Nestle's Oat Cereal, and would eat it all up. When his first box was done, we had him try Nestle's Rice Cereal again, he seemed to like it too. Then we tried some organic brown rice cereal. He didn't like it as much and would only have about a 1/3 of his bowl. So we decided to buy some more oat cereal, but we got Heinz instead. He again would only eat about a 1/3 of his bowl. When we bought the Nestle Oat Cereal again, he ate the whole bowl and wanted more! He also tried peas and peaches this week and seems to love them both!

He had a real busy week. It was his Great-Grandmother's 80th birthday. We had a big party on Saturday, and a smaller dinner on Wednesday. He did great both times. On the weekend we had Mom's cousin and her family stay with us. John Thomas seemed to enjoy having the other kids around.
