John Thomas' Nineteenth Week

John Thomas has been improving his motor skills this week. He is starting to grab objects for himself, rather than wait to have them handed to him. He picks up his link-a-doos, grabs at his toys on the mobiles, can grab the elephant in the Exersaucer to gnaw on and has even started to push the button on the Exersaucer to have it play music. More excitingly, he started lifting up his butt and back and wiggling his legs when on his belly in attempts to get moving.

The time change seemed to have affected him by two hours instead of just one. In attempting to get him to bed for the night before midight, we've been trying to cut him down to just two big naps, instead of one or two big ones and a third smaller one that he had been doing before. It appears to have worked, he's been going to bed closer to 10 o'clock the last few nights.
