This week John Thomas was working on improving his motor skills while we weren't looking. On Thursday he rolled over on his playmat from his back to his belly shortly after his Dad left the room. On Friday he grabbed onto the handle to the cow on his rocking chair mobile and pulled it to start the music shortly after his Mom left the room. He had been doing half rolls all week, then he did full rolls on Thursday and Friday. He's able to lean a little on his elbows now when he's on his belly, and holding his head up higher. He can stand fully erect in his Exersaucer and is starting to learn about balance in it too.
John Thomas is just about to grow out of his 6 month/16lb sleepers, but still has some room to grow in most of his 6 month tops and pants. Next week he has his four month doctor's appointment where he'll get more vaccinations and we'll find out how much he has grown in the last month.
